The Veterinary Leadership Conference

Every January, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) hosts the Veterinary Leadership Conference (VLC), where the leaders and future leaders of the association gather to attend educational sessions, listen to experts discussing veterinary and leadership issues, and learn more about the AVMA. Michael San Filippo, media relations assistant at the AVMA, sat down with Dr. Mark Helfat, chair of the AVMA House Advisory Committee, at the VLC to discuss the importance of the conference and what set this year’s VLC apart from those in the past.
